    A lady after my own heart !!!! Fountain pens are my favourite !!! I bought one from kikki.k a few years ago - the trouble is when you don't use it for a while, the ink dries in the nib and it's so hard to get it writing again. My handwriting is also shocking - I wish I had nice neat handwriting like the people who do all the writing in kikki.k stores - I LOVE that style of writing !!!!!
    Daylight savings - the bane of my life - why or why can't Qld switch over along with all the other intelligent states ???
    Enjoy back to school - apparently Term 4 is only 8 weeks long which seems far too short to me !!!

    Getting my pen licence on my first attempt in Grade 3 was a BIG deal! Alas, I am also losing the art of handwriting - it now often feels quite laborious! And as a teacher, I can tell you it is an issue for our kids too!

    What a lovely experience to actually read handwriting! I too enjoyed writing when I was young, I had a number of pen pals and love writing on fancy, smelly paper. Although I don't hand write my blog posts, all of my notes are in my notebooks, I have heaps of them. It just doesn't feel right to make notes on apps.

    How nice is it to write with a fountain pen? I loved reading your handwritten post. I always use pen and paper to take notes and journal. But if anyone else had to read it I'd be in trouble. My handwriting has definitely deteriorated over the years. And I was so proud of it in school too! It's becoming a lost art sadly x

    My handwriting is shocking now and I don't know if it's because I don't write as much anymore. I type faster than I write probably like most people. I find teachers have the most neatest handwriting. Wish I could write like a teacher.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE this - you have brought back so many memories of me trying so hard to write nicely. Now my writing is HORRIBLE, my daughter's is more legible than mine and she tells me off for it. Just in too much of a hurry, but why? Have a great week. Great post. And you writing is tidy compared to mine! Em, also visiting as part of #teamIBOT

    When I was young we were taught to write with a fountain pen in italics and had handwriting lessons but it's an art I've lost over the years. I hardly write anything at all now and when I do it's just a scribble, such a shame!

    The nuns at primary school taught us to write beautifully, I hardly write like that anymore. I love what you've done with this post Ann.
    Trying to convince kids to go to sleep when it's still daylight is an ass! Love daylight saving though :)

    I love this I love seeing peoples different handwriting. Mine is shocking. I should have been a doctor.
